Just days after Arapahoe Basin announced that they would be joining the Ikon Pass next season, COO Alan Henceroth delivered more big news.
According to a post on the ski resort’s online blog, Arapahoe Basin will now also join the Mountain Collective Pass. Included with this announcement was the detail that anyone with an Arapahoe Basin Full Season Pass will also get 50% off lift tickets at all Mountain Collective Resorts.
The Mountain Collective Pass offers two days of skiing at 18 different resorts around the country, followed by 50% off lift tickets after these days are used. The pass costs $489 for adults and $199 for kids under 12.
Colorado ski areas on the pass for the 2019-2020 season are Arapahoe Basin and Aspen Snowmass. Nearby Taos is also on the pass.
The announcement has been met with a varied reaction, with a number of people voicing either anger or praise on Instagram and on other social media platforms.
