Buckle up for a thrilling adventure unlike any other around Colorado.

Glide, spin, and maneuver bumper cars on the ice at two different locations throughout the state. The first of the two locations can be found at Howelsen Ice Arena of Steamboat Springs. The Olympic size rink offers a number of activities to be enjoyed on the ice including hockey, figure skating, broomball, and bumper cars. It’s only $12 for a 20-minute bumper car ride on the ice. The Gaylord Rockies Resort & Convention Center of Aurora also offers bumper cars on the ice from December 2 to January 5 for just $8.99 a person. Rules and regulations apply.

The concept of the “Ice Bumper Cars” was created by Mike Farny, an employee at the Howelsen Ice Arena in Steamboat Springs. What started out as a fun project to restore old amusement park bumper cars quickly turned into a full-scale company based out of Colorado, also known as IBC International. Currently, there are 17 Ice Bumper Car locations around the country.
