Packable, durable, and comfortable, the Helinox 'Ground Chair' is the perfect seat to bring along for outdoor adventures. It's easy to throw in most gear bags (or attach it via a carabiner) and provides a convenient spot to sit, whether that's around a campfire or on a mountain summit.

The chair consists of two parts, the seat fabric and a collapsible frame, both of which fit into a convenient carry-pack that's less than a foot long and weighs just 1.7 pounds.

It comes in two color options – black and grey – and can be purchased on the Helinox website, retailing at $109.95.

Not only is the 'Ground Chair' something that's great to purchase for personal use, it also makes a good gift. This product comes as one-size-fits-all, with a weight capacity of up to 265 pounds.

Author's Tip: My favorite way to use this chair is at the climbing crag. It's easy to attach to my gear bag and doesn't add much weight. While some people are initially throw off by how small and low to the ground the chair is, most that test it out immediately comment on how comfortable it is. I'd have to agree.

Helinox specializes in making packable furniture. Campers should also check out their lightweight sleeping cots.
