As a massive wave of snow rolled through the state of Colorado this weekend, slopegoers rejoiced – as long as they weren’t stuck in massive lift lines or in heavy traffic.

According to Breckenridge Ski Resort, the most recent wave of snow brought their 7-day total up to an impressive 62 inches or powder. That’s more than 5 feet!

Breckenridge proudly announced that they had gotten 54 inches over the past 7 days on Sunday, with another 8 inches soon to fall.

Big snow totals amassed elsewhere around the state, with Arapahoe Basin announcing that the latest storm brought them 44 new inches of powder.

Copper Mountain is reporting that their resort got 51 inches over the past 7 days.

While most of the snow that fell landed between Friday and Saturday, snow kept dumping on Sunday. Winter Park was the big winner on Sunday, reporting 14 inches of fresh powder from 5 AM Sunday to 5 AM Monday, according to the OpenSnow daily report.

More snow is expected to land in Colorado this week, possibly as much as a foot in some spots.
