1. Baker Gulch to Bowen Gulch Lake
If you are ambitious enough to tackle a 19-mile round-trip hike in one day, this loop may be a great day hike option. The trail is rated as moderate.
2. Adams Falls
Less than a mile round-trip offers amazing views of the Adams Falls cascade. The trailhead that can be accessed from right in town, so this hike is great for those looking for great scenery in a short amount of time.
3. Cascade Falls
Cascade Falls, located just inside the western entrance to Rocky Mountain National Park at the North Inlet Trailhead is another great waterfall hike that is 6.8 miles roundtrip.
4. Monarch Lake
A 4.2-mile hike around an alpine lake with little elevation gain.
5. Onahu Creek Trail
Featuring wildflowers (when in season) and a great atmosphere for the avid bird watcher, this is a great hike for the whole family.
