In the most recent update from the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment (CDPHE), it has been reported that 2,061 cases of COVID-19 have been detected in Colorado. This is an additional 327 cases compared to yesterday. Prior days, the following number of cases were added in the daily report: 304 cases yesterday, 344 cases Thursday; 174 cases on Wednesday; 192 on Tuesday; 129 on Monday.

Throughout the state, 274 individuals have been hospitalized and 44 COVID-19-related deaths have occurred, with 13 added to that list in the latest daily report. There have been 13,276 people tested, with the virus found in 44 of Colorado’s 64 counties. The report also made a point to mention that 10 outbreaks had occurred in residential and non-hospital care facilities. Note that CDPHE updates are reported a day late.

Gunnison, Eagle, and Pitkin counties have the highest rate of infection, with 454.20, 331.74, and 145.42 cases per 100,000 residents, respectively. Denver County has an infection rate of 51.13 per 100,000 residents and El Paso County has an infection rate of 25.76 per 100,000 residents.

  • 0-9: 1.07% (21)
  • 10-19: 2.33% (48)
  • 20-29: 14.94% (308; 9 hospitalized)
  • 30-39: 17.03% (351; 19 hospitalized)
  • 40-49: 15.67% (321; 37 hospitalized, 2 death)
  • 50-59: 17.08% (349; 55 hospitalized, 3 deaths)
  • 60-69: 14.22% (289; 53 hospitalized, 4 deaths)
  • 70-79: 10.67% (206; 48 hospitalized, 14 deaths)
  • 80+: 6.55% (114; 30 hospitalized, 21 deaths)
  • Unknown: .44%

When it comes to sex, male residents of Colorado have accounted for 47.16% of cases and female residents have accounted for 52.26% of cases, with .58% of cases unknown.
