In the most recent update from the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment (CDPHE), it has been reported that 1,734 cases of COVID-19 have been detected in Colorado. This is an additional 304 cases compared to yesterday. Prior days, the following number of cases were added in the daily report: 344 cases yesterday; 174 cases on Wednesday; 192 on Tuesday; 129 on Monday.

Throughout the state, 239 individuals have been hospitalized and 31 COVID-19-related deaths have occurred, with seven added to that list in the latest report. There have been 11,676 people tested, with the virus found in 42 of Colorado’s 64 counties. The report also made a point to mention that 9 outbreaks had occurred in residential and non-hospital care facilities. Note that CDPHE updates are reported a day late.

Gunnison, Eagle, and Pitkin counties have the highest rate of infection, with 384.22, 309.86, and 139.83 cases per 100,000 residents, respectively. Denver County has an infection rate of 43.47 per 100,000 residents and El Paso County has an infection rate of 22.40 per 100,000 residents.

  • 0-9: 1.15% (19)
  • 10-19: 2.48% (43)
  • 20-29: 14.42% (250; 7 hospitalized)
  • 30-39: 17.36% (301; 19 hospitalized)
  • 40-49: 16.26% (281; 33 hospitalized, 1 death)
  • 50-59: 16.96% (292; 48 hospitalized, 2 deaths)
  • 60-69: 14.42% (246; 45 hospitalized, 4 deaths)
  • 70-79: 10.55% (173; 41 hospitalized, 10 deaths)
  • 80+: 6.11% (92; 25 hospitalized, 14 deaths)
  • Unknown: .29%

When it comes to sex, male residents of Colorado have accounted for 48.15% of cases and female residents have accounted for 51.21% of cases, with .63% of cases unknown.
