With snow dropping in the high country, three resorts were able to announce their opening dates for the 2018-2019 season. Be warned: We’re still waiting for the opening dates to be announced at Arapahoe Basin and Loveland – the two ski areas that generally open first.

Three resorts that have announced their opening dates include Wolf Creek (Nov. 2), Winter Park (Nov. 14), and Copper Mountain (Nov. 16). While this means that we’re less than a month away from Wolf Creek opening its lifts, keep in mind that Arapahoe Basin and Loveland tend to open prior to the end of October. Given the recent snow, I’d guess we’re two weekends out with those two resorts.
