3. BlacKkKlansman (2018)

Cold Pursuit tells the story of a vengeful snowplow driver played by Liam Neeson. It takes place in the small and fictional town of Kehoe, Colorado.

5. Cop Car (2015)

I don’t remember if they actually say whether or not this film is supposed to be set in Colorado, but it does feature a number of scenes that are clearly Colorado Springs, Colorado. I’ll count it.

6. Day of the Dead (2008)

No big spoilers, but this one is a zombie flick that starts out in the high-altitude mountain town of Leadville, Colorado. Chaos ensues.

7. Dumb and Dumber (1994)

Aspen plays an important role in Dumb and Dumber, as two goofs travel across the country while tracking down an Aspen-bound woman.

8. I’ll Always Know What You Did Last Summer (2006)

This slasher-flick sequel puts a group of teens in Colorado where a killer also happens to lurk.

9. Identity Thief (2013)

Several big scenes of Identity Thief take place in Denver, Colorado, as a man tries to track down a woman that stole his identity.

10. National Lampoons’s Vacation (1983)

While on a road trip across the country, this wacky family makes a stop in South Fork, Colorado for the night.

11. The Prestige (2006)

Starring David Bowe as Nikola Tesla, Colorado Springs is included in this film’s plot line.

12. The Shining (1980)

Inspired by Colorado and set in the Colorado Rockies, The Shining was actually filmed in England and Oregon.

13. South Park: Bigger, Longer, & Uncut (1999)

The boys of South Park are at it again. While there’s debate over whether or not South Park is a real place, the town of Fairplay has embraced the role that the show has played in their community, with a sign for pictures, a store filled with South Park gear, and a number of character cut-outs around the town.
