Widespread power outages are occurring in Colorado as a “bomb cyclone” rolls through the state.

According to the XCEL Energy website, it’s estimated that more than 128,000 of their customers are currently being impacted by power outages around Colorado. Most of these customers are in the Denver area. This estimation came at 11:44 AM.

Widespread power outages are also taking place in Colorado Springs. According to one report by The Gazette, more than 10,000 people have lost power throughout the day in this area.
