If you’re looking for an adrenaline rush, you’ll find it at Paradise Cove. Also known as Guffey Cove, Paradise Cove has become a popular spot for Colorado cliff jumping in recent years.The cove, located near Cripple Creek, is only about an hour from Colorado Springs and attracts hundreds of people on warm summer days. It’s accessible by a short but steep half-mile hike. Keep in mind that cliff jumping can be dangerous. Partake in this activity at your own risk.

Whether you plan on jumping off the rock wall or not, you can enjoy the cove-side beach area.

If you’re headed to the cove on a weekend, make sure you get there early. There is a parking lot, but it’s not huge and fills up quickly.
