Talk about temporary art!
Sonja Hinrichsen, an artist visiting Steamboat Springs from San Francisco, helped create "Snow Drawings" earlier this month on Rabbit Ears Pass. The unique spirals were imprinted into the snow by 10 volunteers on snowshoes.
“I’m not so into making art that lasts,” Hinrichsen told Steamboat Today. “The world is saturated with manmade projects. I don’t think I need to add more things to the planet.”
Cedar Beauregard of Steamboat Aerials was on hand to record the work. Check out the photos!
