Green Guru Gear is selling bracelets, keychains, leashes, rugs and other items made from old climbing rope that otherwise likely will wind up tangled in the mess of a landfhill.

Company talking heads say they're partnering with climbing gyms, camps, guides, colleges and organizations to set up waste rope recycling programs and “upcycling” the ropes into "great products all made in USA.
