Boulder rangers kill 2 coyotes deemed aggressive

BOULDER — Boulder police say Boulder Open Space rangers have killed two aggressive coyotes after one bit a jogger on the leg.

The Daily Camera reports the first coyote was killed Sunday after biting a jogger on a bike path near 55th Street and Pearl Parkway.

A short time later, a second aggressive coyote was reported near 55th and Central Avenue and was tracked and killed by a ranger. The newspaper reports the coyote appeared to be in bad health.
