A Westminster man found dead on a Keystone ski run Wednesday suffered a broken neck, the Summit County coroner said today.
Vesslin VLassev, 54, was skiing the Jacques St. James Trail, an intermediate run, before a passing skier noticed his body at 11:30 a.m. just off the groomed trail and notified the Ski Patrol.
"It appears he left the groomed run and struck the snow surface resulting in the fatal injury," according to preliminary autopsy results.
