Ski SuperPipe pioneer Sarah Burke, who was 29 when she died in January from injuries suffered in a crash while practicing in Park City, Utah. RIP, Sarah.
The ESPN Winter X Games were held for the 11th year at Buttermilk Mountain in Aspen/Snowmass from Jan. 26 to Jan. 29.
Entry to the competition and the accompanying village was, as always, FREE. And those who made the trip saw some of the best athletes in the world in our backyard.
OutThereColorado.com's Christian Murdock and Brian Gomez took photos and video from the slopes and reported on daily competition as well as the tribute to Sarah Burke (above).
