Two lost teen skiers guided to safety near Aspen

Rescuers had to guide two teenagers to safety Wednesday night, after the pair got lost skiing in the Aspen Highlands.

The two were skiing at the area when they decided to ski down to a home off Castle Creek Road, according to a news release from the Pitkin County Sheriff's Office.

The pair was about 1,000 vertical feet below the ski area when they got stuck. Around 5:30 p.m., deputies received a 911 call about two teenagers stuck on a cliff.
