Keystone Resort is ringing in the holidays in a big way.
Executive Pastry Chef Ned Archibald’s famous chocolate village at Keystone Lodge & Spa opened Friday. You don't want to miss 2,500 pounds of chocolate crafted into a miniature alpine village with a working chocolate gondola, a cascading chocolate waterfall, and a 6-foot-tall white chocolate Christmas tree with chocolate presents under it.
The Kidtopia Snow fort atop Dercum Mountain opens Thursday with a maze, a tower and a snow slide.
Then there's the Keystone Aglow lights and Icestravaganza in the River Run and Lakeside Villages, and a presentation of "A Christmas Carol" at Warren Station.
Santa and his reindeer will stop by several times before Christmas, and kids can have breakfast with Santa the morning of Christmas Eve.
Lodging deals start at $79 a night, with Winter Vacation on Us packages, and there are Three for Free package that help you extend your stay and take advantage of gifts. Check 'em out at keystoneresort.com.
