Your photo could win you a State Parks pass |

We know you love Colorado's state parks. You can show it by entering Colorado Parks and Wildlife’s “Best of 2011 at Colorado State Parks” photo contest.
Send photos that show people having fun in any state park at any time of year. Photo categories are: Best of Winter, Best of Spring/Summer and Best of Fall.
The contest is open to adults, and entry deadline is Jan. 31. Five finalists from each category will be posted on the Colorado State Parks Facebook page on Feb. 8. The public will then get one week to vote for their favorite photo.
“We have so many beautiful state parks in Colorado and visitors who are passionate about their outdoor pursuits. It seems natural to let the visitors tell the story of their memorable experiences at state parks through their photo submissions,” said Gary Thorson, Colorado Parks and Wildlife assistant director.
The winners will receive a 2012 Colorado State Parks annual pass, and a $50 Cabela’s gift card, courtesy of The Foundation for Colorado State Parks. Winning photos also will be featured on the Colorado State Parks website and may also be used in various marketing and promotional activities.
Judging will be based on photos' content, composition, subject, relevance, and originality. See all the rules.
