Beaver Creek's new Rose Bowl lift is open for business - and zipping riders up the mountain in half the time of the old triple chair.

Beaver Creek Chief Operating Officer Doug Lovell told the Vail Daily that Rose Bowl is one of the key areas in Beaver Creek that really needed an upgrade. He expects the faster lift to drive more traffic to the area, which will take some pressure off the front side of the mountain.
