Winter sports clinic will train 400 disabled vets in skiing, other adaptive activities |

Nearly 400 military veterans injured in wars will fight to regain their independence this spring in Snowmass Village during the National Disabled Veterans Winter Sports Clinic March 23-30.
They include veterans with spinal cord injuries, amputations, traumatic brain injuries, neurological challenges, and visual impairments.
There will be lessons in adaptive Alpine and Nordic skiing, and introductions to a number of other adaptive recreational activities and sports.
