More than a foot of snow expected this weekend in San Juan Mountains |

A hazardous weather outlook has been issued for northeast and north central Colorado beginning today.
Clouds are expected to move into the mountains and along the Front Range this afternoon, and 3 to 5 inches of snow could fall by Saturday morning. Snow fall is expected to continue through Saturday and into Sunday afternoon, dissolving Sunday evening.
A hazardous weather outlook was also issued for western Colorado and the southwest mountains this weekend. Snow flurries will begin around noon today in southern Colorado, bringing 3 to 5 inches of snow to the area.
A winter storm warning has been issued for the San Juan Mountains where 8 to 14 inches of snow could fall this weekend.
