Vail Mountain reported 3 inches of new snow Saturday morning.

Later in the day, the resort opened Chair 4, the Mountain Top Express Lift. That opening comes after the Friday opening of Chair 3, the Wildwood Express Lift.

Vail has received 7 inches of snow in the last seven days.

Beaver Creek reported 1 inch of snow Saturday morning and has seen 8 inches in the last seven days.
