Pikes Peak Region Trail Finder

Now in its 14th year, the YMCA Turkey Trot 5K returns Thursday to northern Colorado Springs.

The run/walk raises money to support the YMCA of the Pikes Peak Region's annual community support campaign. Last Thanksgiving, the Turkey Trot took place in chilly conditions but the weather will be far more mild this time around.

The 5K begins at 9 a.m. with the start line on Austin Bluffs in front of the Briargate Y. There also will be a kids' 1K at 8:15 a.m.
