Frisco park may offer beginner ski lessons
Friday, November 18, 2011 08:56

Copper Mountain ski instructors may start teaching beginners at Frisco's Adventure Park this year.

Frisco officials hope to open a ski and ride area at the park this season and are talking to Copper about a deal that would find its instructors teaching lessons and renting equipment to beginners.

Frisco's director of recreation Diane McBride said she met with Ski and Ride School directors. That would be a low-key place to learn to ski or ride!

They're still blowing snow at the Frisco Adventure Park and hope to open Thanksgiving Day.
