Incline Friends fundraiser features Krupica, other ultra runners

The Incline Friends -- a group formed to help open the Manitou Incline to the public and keep it ready for everyone's use -- is holding a fundraising film screening featuring the new documentary “Unbreakable: The Western States 100” at 7 p.m., Dec. 7 at Stargazers Theatre.

Ultra runners Anton Krupicka, Geoff Roes and Anita Ortiz will attend the screening and join a Q&A session.

Doors open at 6 p.m. Stargazers is at 10 S. Parkside Drive, just off Pikes Peak Avenue east of downtown Colorado Springs.

The film follows four athletes, including Krupicka and Roes of Boulder, as they prepare for the 2010 race -- a 100-mile course across the Sierra Nevada.

Tickets cost $10 and will be available at Mountain Chalet, 226 N. Tejon St.; Colorado Running Co., 833 N. Tejon St..and 9275 N. Union Blvd, Suite 120; and Carmichael Training Systems, 600 S. 21st St., No. 100.

Tickets also are available for $11 at imATHLETE.com.

If there's room, tickets will be available for $10 the day of the show.
