Breck-based snowboard academy aims to hone riders' skills |

Everyone wins and nobody loses.
That's the concept behind a new Breckenridge-based snowboard program that pairs pro riders and certified coaches with small groups of athletes in its one-to-five-day programs.
Scott Kees, a former rider for Burton, Forum and Smith, co-founded the academy in 2010 with Gregg Davis, a two-term national team member for the American Association of Snowboard Instructors, and USASA-certified trainer Cameron Hunter.
All three are quick to confess their love for snowboarding.
At Method Academy, the trio aims to share their joy while growing respectful, life-loving athletes who “slay it all over the mountain,” Davis said.
