Snowmass officials have moved up opening day to Nov. 19.

That's only 5 days early, but it gives you another weekend of skiing or riding - unless you have the week of Thanksgiving off; if you do, you could hit the slopes a few MORE days.

Snowmass is the arguably the best overall resort near Aspen.

As planned, the Village Express and Big Burn lifts will be up and running on Nov. 19, giving you free reign of 7 trails - Sneaky’s, Mick’s Gully, Max Park, Lunchline, Upper Scooper, Hals and Fanny Hill - and 160 acres.

The Sky Cab Gondola and the Ski School Magic Carpet also will be running.

Lifts will run from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

Now, all we have to do is wait for another snowstorm!
