Park entry is FREE for Veterans Day

Get out and enjoy a beautiful weekend in Colorado - and get into a favorite park for FREE!

Entry to national parks is free at all national parks and park areas, including such favorites as Rocky Mountain National Park, Great Sand Dunes National Park and Preserve and Bent's Old Fort National Historic Site, in honor of Veterans Day.  Entry will be waived Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

Veterans and active duty military and their families also can get into any state park for free on Friday, Veterans Day.

Fees also will be waived throughout the weekend at U.S. Forest Service areas where there normally are fees.
