The first 1,111 guests to Breckenridge's opening day on Friday get cupcakes to help celebrate Breck's 50^th anniversary.

Can you say yum?  The cupcakes will be handed out beginning at 8:30 a.m. on the Ski Hill Grill Plaza at the base of Peak 8.

The BreckConnect Gondola will start running at 8 a.m. The Colorado SuperChair, 5 Chair and Rip's Ride will start running at 9 a.m.

Breck will share details about opening day ttrails and terrain on Thursday afternoon.

Budweiser's Breck 50^th Anniversary Ale will be available in the T-Bar beginning with the ceremonial tapping of the first keg of the season at 11 a.m.

Breck’s Gold Runner Coaster will also start its winter operations on Friday, and will run 11 a.m. – 4 p.m. daily, weather permitting.
