Twenty early mountain bikes are on display at the U.S. Bicycling Hall of Fame as part of a Mountain Bike History Celebration.

Mike Sinyard, founder of Specialized Bicycles, is being inducted into the Hall this year. Specialized, was began in 1974, introduced its famous Stumpjumper mountain bike in 1981.

Joe Breeze’s Breezer #1, regarded by many as the world’s first purpose-built mountain bike, is part of the exhibit. It was built in 1977.

Take a virtual tour of the Hall of Fame's exhibits.

Here's the class of 2011 inductees.
