Snowmaking is under way at the Frisco Peninsula Recreation Area, which town offiicals hope to open for its second season on Thanksgiving Day.

The terrain park will be bigger, with more features, and staff is planning four rail jams this winter.

The area also has a tubing hill, a Nordic center and dinner sleigh rides.
