A-Basin opens top to bottom skiing Wednesday
Tuesday, November 01, 2011 10:27

Arapahoe Basin will expand its terrain and offer top to bottom skiing starting Wednesday, the ski area announced this morning.

Snow is forecast for Tuesday night in the high country and will add to snow left by last week's storm and the work of snowmakers, enabling the resort to open terrain for the season.

Intermediate runs Lenawee Face and Dercum's Gulch, serviced by the Lenawee Mountain Lift, will open Wednesday.

Snowmaking efforts will shift later this week to Sundance in hopes of opening more beginner terrain as soon as possible.

Keystone and Copper are scheduled to open Friday, Nov. 4.
