Locals fare well in collegiate mountain bike nationals |

Air Force sophomore Coleen Pacurariu enjoyed a strong weekend at the USA Cycling Collegiate Mountain Bike Nationals. Pacurariu won the Division 2 downhill race Saturday and placed second in the dual slalom race Sunday.
Pacurariu's time (10 minutes, 42 seconds) in the downhill was the fastest among women, including Division 1 competitors.
Colorado College's Adam Miller finished third in the Division 2 men's short track race and sixth in the cross country race. AFA freshman Karl Schroeder was 17th in short track while teammate Zeb Hanley, a senior, finished 17th in the cross country race.
