Climbing instructor arrested on obscenity charge

CASTLE ROCK  (AP) — Douglas County sheriff's officials have arrested a climbing instructor on suspicion of a felony charge of obscenity and a misdemeanor charge of unlawful sexual contact on a girl in his climbing class.

Twenty-nine-year-old Morgan Huston is free on a $2,000 bond. A phone number for him couldn't be found.

He was placed on administrative leave Friday from his job at the Eastridge Recreational Center in Highlands Ranch. Jamie Noebel of the Highlands Ranch Community Association, which runs the center, says a background check on Huston before he was hired turned up nothing.

Sheriff's officials say their investigation began earlier this week when a school resource officer heard a tip from a Douglas County School District counselor. Details of the tip weren't released.

Noebel says the association also is investigating.
