We already told you about the snow gear swap and sale at The Ski Shop here in the Springs on Saturday. (It benefits VIBeS, which assists blind and partially sighted skiers and riders.) Plan your timely accordingly and you could get a deal on gear for skiing AND biking, because the Velo Swap is on tomorrow in Denver. The swap is huge. Said to be the biggest of its kind in the country. It's at the National Western Complex and you could outfit yourself from head to toe AND get a bike there. And the cycling industry will be there, so you can get info on just about every aspect of cycling you want - and maybe snag a freebie or two. Get there early or get there late, but it you're lookin for a deal you'll probably find one. Hours are 9 a.m. tol 4 p.m. Entry is $8 (you might be able to swing discount tix at REI and Performance Bike stores in metro Denver). |
