Such a deal! Now through the end of October, if you buy a pair of Patagonia shoes at Mountain Chalet, $30 will be donated to the Trails and Open Space Coalition! So, if you've been eyeing a pair, you have about 2 weeks to make a purchase that helps your feet and some of your favorite trails. If you're looking for other gear, you still can help local trails. Stop by Mountain Chalet between 11 a.m. and 3 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 28, and meet Owen Dennehy, the store's rep for Patagonia Footwear, Eagle Creek, Mountain Khakis, and Katadyn. Chat with Owen, check out his goods, grill him about the durability or usability of his goods. If you BUY any of the gear Owen represents you'll get a surprise AND the store will donate 20% of the sale to Friends of Red Rock Canyon.
