Frisco Adventure Park plans winter, summer changes

I stopped by the new Frisco Adventure Park for the first time after the X Games last winter.  It looked like it could be a lot of fun, especially if you've got kids with you.

Heading into its second year, there are changes in the works, writes Kathryn Corazzelli in the Summit Daily News.

Here's some of what's cooking for winter:

* Increased tubing, with 1-hour blocks sold every 15 minutes instead of every 30 minutes, and the height requirement set at 36 inches instead of 42 inches.

* Hourly rates at the terrain park and ski hill.

* Construction of a snow fort for kids to play in.

* Possible ski-bike rentals and instruction.

* Online tubing hill reservations
