Here's another reason to follow the butterfy!
Monarch Mountain has added 3 areas to its list of pass partners: Telluride and Ski Cooper in Colorado and Ski Apache in New Mexico.
What a deal!
Your Monarch pass already is accepted at 9 Colorado areas, 6 New Mexico areas and ski areas in Utah, Wyoming, California, Michigan, Arizona and British Columbia, Canada.
You can use your Monarch pass to ski and ride the Pike Peak region's favorite ski area - Monarch - as well as Loveland, Durango, Powderhorn, Sunlight, Sol Vista, Silverton, Ski Cooper and Telluride.
You can also head south and use your Monarch pass to ski and ride Taos, Angel Fire, Red River, Pajarito, Sipapu and Ski Apache.
AND you can hit the road and use your pass to ski and ride Alta in Utah (half-price tickets) and Grand Targhee in Wyoming and Revelstoke in British Columbia.
Look for lift deals at China Peak in California, Arizona Snowbowl and Indianhead in Michigan.
You can get a pass online or at a Monarch "road show." It'll be in town twice in October:
Oct. 8, 9 a.m. -2 p.m., the Air Force Academy
Oct. 22, 10 a.m. - 3 p.m., Fort Carson
See other road show dates here.
There are , of course, restrictions and details to some of these deals:
Like, you get 2 lift tickets at Telluride when you book at least 2 nights with Telluride Resort Lodging and you get 3 days at Revelstoke with half-price lodging. But most of the partners offer three days on a mountain, with some restrictions.
Season passes cost $339 for adults through Nov. 6. Get the skinny on all Monarch's passes at the website - just past the butterflies.
