A cyclist collapsed this morning due to an unknown medical condition at Lefthand Canyon Drive and U.S. 36, according to Boulder County sheriff's officials.

The biker, whose name was not available, was believed to be a part of a bicycle event through the B Strong Ride sponsored by Celestial Seasonings, said sheriff's Sgt. Troy Wolf. The ride left Celestial Seasonings and planned to bike through Lefthand Canyon Drive and end back at the factory.

The biker stopped breathing around 9:15 a.m., but was able to be revived through CPR, said officials. He was airlifted to St. Anthony Central Hospital in Denver. His condition remains unknown.
