Pond-skimming is on at A-Basin

Now that is a cold skier!
Check out Arapahoe Basin's website for some great shots of pond-skimming over the weekend. Each summer a lake in the upper bowl gets uncovered as the snow melts, and hardy (or foolhardy...) skiers and riders try to shoot across it.
About half make it, but the real fun is watching those who don't.
In case you were wondering, the ski area is closed this weekend but will reopen Friday through Sunday for closing day weekend, unless, of course, they decide to stay open longer.
