State Parks officials approved higher fees for seniors and they'll go into effect June 30.
The new fees reduce the discounts given to Colorado residents ages 64 and older through the Aspen Leaf program.
The Colorado State Parks annual pass is $70.
Beginning June 30 the Aspen Leaf annual pass will cost $60 and a Lifetime Pass will cost $300.
