SILVERTON - Jared Campbell impressively won the Hardrock 100 race, finishing 74 minutes ahead of runner-up Diana Finkel.

Finkel led both men and women for about 50 miles before being passed by Campbell with about 10 miles to go.

Michael Foote was another 63 minutes back in third, followed by Darcy Africa and Nick Pedatella.

Neal Taylor of Manitou Springs was the first local finisher in 27th place, roughly 8 1/2 hours behind Campbell. Jon Teisher of Manitou Springs was 36th.
