10th annual Bash the Bluffs 5K brings runners out to UCCS

On a cool, cloudless Saturday morning, Kyle Smith won the 10th annual Bash the Bluffs 5K.
Smith, 23, finished the 3.1-mile running race on the campus of the University of Colorado-Colorado Springs in 17 minutes, 20 seconds. Smith was follwed by Andy Rinn (17:36) and Paul Mamm (17:42).

Clare Bar, 24, won the women's title in 20:46. Nicole Erlacher (22:41) was runner-up while Katelyn Swiatek (22:54) took third.
More than 100 runners took part in the race, which started and finished at the recreation center.
