Arctic explorer Parker Liautaud, 16, is celebrating after successfully reaching the North Pole on skis.
We wrote about Parker last year and invited readers to follow his expedition, which was turned back by atrocious weather when he was just 15 miles from the pole.

This year's adventure took just 4 days, and Parker reached the pole 1 week ahead of schedule.
Parker, an ambassador for One Young World, and his teammate Doug Stoup were the first adventurers to return from a successful trip to the geographical North Pole since the Arctic airstrip was completed last week.
Their trip had been delayed by bad weather at the Borneo Ice Airfield.
The same setback caused Prince Harry's polar expedition with four wounded servicemen to be put on hold. Harry, 26, returned to the UK on Saturday after spending four days in the Arctic wilderness with his Walking With The Wounded team.
Parker finished the 69-mile trek in 4 days, 2 hours and 47 minutes.
Along the way he took snow thickness measurements that will be used by the European Space Agency and the University of Alberta.
