Keystone Resort wraps up “a truly epic year” this weekend with music, games and more, spokesman Ryan Whaley said.
And there's still a 76-inch base.
The resort saw a snowfall total of 342 inches this season, far above its 10-year average of 208 inches. The resort's yearly average is 240 inches of snow.
To bid farewell to a season that heralded not just “epic” snowfall but also the introduction of EpicMix, the resort has buy-one-get-one-free lift tickets for $97 through closing day.
On Saturday, Robert Earl Keen plays a free concert at River Run with opener Marty Jones & The Great Unknowns. The free show begins at 4 p.m. Saturday evening, David Sanborn plays Warren Station at 7:30 p.m. (Tickets are $30.)
On Sunday, check out Keystone's first annual Slush Cup — an end-of-season pond skimming celebration — from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. with prizes ranging from a 2011/2012 season pass and other Keystone swag. Irie Still concludes the Slush Cup with a free reggae concert.
