DENVER — The Quiznos Pro Challenge bicycle race is getting a new name: the USA Pro Cycling Challenge, to go with a new TV deal.

Quiznos will continue as a founding sponsor with the same level of participation. Organizers said they changed the name "in order to showcase the global scale of the event to a worldwide audience."

Organizers on Tuesday also announced a broadcast agreement with NBC Sports Group to present 25 hours of cycling coverage over seven days this summer.

NBC Sports will broadcast the final day of the professional cycling competition live on Aug. 28. VERSUS will air coverage from Aug. 22-28, including pre- and post-race coverage on the final day.
