Timeshares planned for foot of Aspen Mountain

The Aspen Planning and Zoning Commission will consider plans for a 27-unit timeshare at the base of Aspen Mountain.
The Lift One Lodge project has been in the works since 2006.
The project also includes a restaurant, parking garage, affordable housing, public park improvements and a ski museum to be operated by the Aspen Historical Society.
Roaring Fork Mountain Lodge has committed $600,000 for a new surface-tow ski lift running through the area to the Lift 1A terminal.
