Springs runner wins 100-mile Utah foot race

Local runner Dan Vega, an employee at Brown's Shoe Fit, won the Antelope Island Buffalo Run in Utah this weekend.
The 100-mile race winds through a state park on an island in Great Salt Lake known for its large buffalo herd. According to the race's website, sometimes the buffalo move for runners and sometimes they don't.
Vega posted a time of 15 hours, 31 minutes, beating the next-closest competitor by 35 minutes.
