Four skiers missing in Pitkin County

Four Denver men are missing in the backcountry in Castle Creek Valley south of Aspen, the Pitkin County Sheriff's Department said tonight.
The men have not been named.
They were due back from a ski trip Monday night, but extreme weather moved in that afternoon, the Sheriff's Department said.
The skiers had booked the Goodwin Green hut about 11 miles south Aspen for Friday through Monday nights, but had since told friends they would return Monday night.
Mountain Rescue Aspen began searching the area by snowmobile Tuesday afternoon, according to the Sheriff's Department.
